What is Ready, Set, Violin?

Ready Set Violin is a one-week violin immersion for children ages 3–7 and their grownups— a supercharged, commitment-free way to begin a lifetime of music.

In five joyful days, confidence grows fast, real violin foundations click, and you build meaningful musical connection with your child—without pressure to continue lessons.

Tuition Includes

5 Classes

50 minutes of developing rhythms, songs, and violin foundations led by Taylor Morris and Olivia Breen.

Wee Violins

During class and at home, children explore music on solid-wood Wee Violins, giving them freedom to play without worry of damage.

1:1 Instruction

After class, enjoy individual guidance using high-quality, real violins. These quiet moments help your child feel confident, supported, and successful—while giving you clarity as a parent.

Saturday Celebration

The week concludes with a relaxed, heartfelt gathering where music, movement, and smiles are shared with the people who matter most.

A child who sings, moves, and plays with joy — songs and rhythms from class naturally showing up at home.

Pricing: $195, includes 5 classes, a Wee Violin to play during the week, Saturday Celebration for family and friends, and more!
Saturday Celebration: 1:30pm at The Greenhouse. Invite your family and friends to celebrate all that you have learned!
Registration: Once registration is submitted, you will receive payment link due by Aug 30. Enrollment is limited to 10 students

You Might Be Wondering...

My child is only 3. Are they really ready for violin?
Yes! Ready Set Violin is designed for ages 3–7. Young children thrive in this playful, movement-based setting. They use box violins during class and explore real violins during supported 1:1 instruction—everything is developmentally appropriate and rooted in joy.

We’re already so busy. How will this fit into our schedule?
That’s exactly why this is a one-week experience. With convenient class times, it builds confidence and curiosity without overwhelming your calendar or requiring a long-term commitment.

Will this still be worth it if my child doesn’t continue with violin?
Absolutely. Children grow in confidence, focus, coordination, and joy—skills that carry into everyday life, whether or not violin is the next step.

What if we show up and my child is too nervous to participate?
We expect your kid to act like a kid! Your child is invited to watch the activities with you until they feel ready to participate.

Is this just a week of fun, or will my child really learn something?
It’s both. Through songs, games, and movement, children learn real violin foundations while building fine motor skills, confidence, and pride in what they can do.

What do adults do during the class?
A grownup (parent, grandparent, aunt/uncle, etc.) is required to sit with their student during class and is encouraged to sing, move, and play along with your child!

Are siblings welcome?
Yes! Siblings are welcome to come along. If they want to participate in class, make sure to register them!

Does my child need their own violin?
Not for Ready Set Violin. Wee Violins are provided during the week for class and at-home exploration, and real violins for 1:1 instruction after class.
